ANDREW SANDLER
LOS ANGELES
Andrew Sandler is an award-winning filmmaker based out of Los Angeles, with a portfolio of videos that have amassed well over a billion views.
Andrew was first exposed to the world of cinema on the screen, but quickly found his passion behind-the-scenes. He credits his decision to explore behind the camera to Steven Spielberg, with whom he worked with on the film “Minority Report." From here, Andrew went on to pursue his B.A. in Film Production at the prestigious USC School of Cinematic Arts.
His passion in both directing and producing catapulted him into the music video world where he has gained credits and helped shape visual styles for artists such as Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Diddy, Usher, Ariana Grande, Mary J. Blige, G-Eazy, Pitbull, Machine Gun Kelly, Slipknot, and many more. His work on Chris Brown’s “Royalty” video series earned him a VMA nomination for Best-Long Form Video (they lost to Beyonce).
In addition to music videos, Andrew has directed two feature Documentaries on the lives of superstar artists Chris Brown and Mary J. Blige. “Chris Brown: Welcome To My Life” was released theatrically nationwide and is currently available on NETFLIX.
Andrew is excited to bring his unique visual style to the world of country music, and what better place to establish his routes than with Taillight!
