Peter Zavadil
Nashville, tn

Director Peter Zavadil brings a love for all things cinema to his directorial work. For more than two decades he's directed an eclectic mix of memorable music videos and commercials from laugh-out-loud comedy and emotionally driven dramas to action-driven epics.  The span and variety of his work has built Peter a reputation as a director with a talent for orchestrating projects with striking visuals and complex scenarios.

Peter's work has garnered numerous awards, including two CMA Awards for Music Video of the Year as well as many, many nominations for both CMA and ACM categories.  His commercial work has garnered countless Addys and regional Emmys as well as a National Emmy for a Monday Night Football promo campaign.  He has worked with too many Artists to list here but his Wikipedia page can be found HERE. His commercials clients have included Krystal, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Christus, BravoTV, Billboard, Farm Bureau, PGA Superstores and many more…

Peter is also both an accomplished editor and writer.  Concepting and cutting much of his own work provides Peter with yet another outlet for his bulletproof enthusiasm and determination to always find ways to raise the creative bar and bring something more to a project than the client expects. He brings the storytelling perspective of a writer to the creative, and having an editor's eye on set consistently takes his work to the next level. Referring to himself as ‘tirelessly enthusiastic,' either running six-miles a day or writing scripts in his free time Peter likes to work off some of his boundless energy before hitting the studio or a long day on location.

Peter’s favorite quote: “The only way to create the impossible is to believe it possible” and lists his favorite Directors as David Lynch, Stanley Kubrick, John Ford and The Coen Brothers.
