In the 90s, there was one album on repeat on every rock radio station. Hootie and The Blowfish's "Cracked Rear View" topped every major chart in 94’ garnering an almost cult-like following.
The Grammy Award winning band just announced a new livestream performance together with Sessions right in the center of where it all began - Columbia, South Carolina. This exclusive, virtual performance is an online presentation of the tour-closing show from their hugely successful 2019 Group Therapy Tour, broadcast only via Sessions Live.
In this concert special the acclaimed group performs some of their greatest hits, including “Hold My Hand,” “Only Wanna Be With You,” “Time” and “Let Her Cry” in never-before-aired footage from their sold-out homecoming stop in Columbia and it’s the first time the band had returned to that city in almost 20 years.
“We loved every minute of being back on stage together – especially in Columbia,” shared lead singer Darius Rucker.
“We all miss live music right now, so we’re really excited to be able to offer this show to our fans who can now experience the energy of that night from home.”
The Taillight team was onsite in Columbia to capture the excitement with Taillight President and Executive Producer Tom Forrest directing the concert performance along with Producers Matt Houser and Jeanette Jolley.
“The energy was unbelievable. To be back in the city where it all began was very poetic for the band and we were honored to be a small part of it.” said Forrest. “I’m glad we get to share this moment with others.”
