Updated: Apr 20, 2021

It’s rare when you get the chance to be a part of history, the changing of presidents, and a national celebration. Some could say it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity. But that’s exactly what happened on January 20 when the Taillight team produced the Tim McGraw & Tyler Hubbard “Undivided” performance piece for “Celebrate America” as part of President Joe Biden’s Official Inaugural Celebration.

President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris celebrated their first day in office with a monumental, prime-time televised event that included a long list of impressive performances from musical icons John Legend, Bruce Springsteen, Katy Perry, Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard and many more.

Hosted in the center of the action in Washington D.C., the event reached viewers across the nation by also going live in major cities across the United States. And that’s where Taillight and director Shane Drake stepped in along with producer Matt Houser, to create a strong and heartfelt performance from country icon Tim McGraw and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard with Nashville’s beautiful skyline as the backdrop.

Their performance of “Undivided,” an original song penned by Hubbard, specifically for this occasion, perfectly showcased the theme of unity. So much so, that, according to Country Insider, there was a post-inauguration performance jump for the “Undivided” single, 340% increase in overall consumption, 237% increase in sales, and 624% increase in streams up to 2 million.

This was a huge night for America, the country music industry and Taillight was honored to contribute to the celebration.
