Camping World and Taillight Celebrate Pollstar Success with 10-Week Concert Series

Updated: Apr 20, 2021

Over the past year, as the world has struggled to remain socially distant, outdoor activities and live stream entertainment have risen to the top of everyone’s social to-do lists. Camping World was looking for a way to stay in touch with their customer base and this led to the Camping World Live Stream Concert Series.

This 10-week concert series, produced by Taillight and Camping World, featured the biggest names in country music performing live concerts for millions of fans across YouTube, Twitter and Facebook.

In fact, the series was so successful that Pollstar placed it in the No. 4 spot on its list of Most Streamed Content for All of 2020. Over 9 million people viewed this series! But how did this series come together?

In August of 2020, Camping World and CAA came to the Taillight team with the idea for a weekly concert series, but they needed help working with each artist’s camp to produce, edit and execute the series. Taillight’s production execution experience along with vast relationships with artists booked by CAA made it a seamless and successful process for everyone involved.

With 10 different, consecutive live streaming events, promotional content for each concert, and the added layer of producing this series while maintaining a lengthy list of Covid-safety precautions, our team’s experience in managing multi-faceted, large scale productions was key to ensuring no detail was overlooked.

This star-studded series kicked off on Sept. 15 with legendary country act, Alabama and ended with country powerhouse couple, Amy Grant and Vince Gill.

Each Tuesday for ten weeks, fans were delighted with performances by some of their favorite artists including Martina McBride, Chris Young, Ricky Skaggs and Steven Curtis Chapman, Sugarland, Zac Brown Band, Lady A, Brett Young, and Little Big Town.

The hour-long concert broadcast, hosted by nationally-syndicated radio host Shawn Parr, kicked off with a variety of openers and ended with a performance and Q&A with the headline artist. The concerts were streamed and boosted with a strategic paid media plan on Camping World’s Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts.

Throughout the 10 weeks, the concerts were featured in the top live streams on Pollstar. We are proud of our partnership with Camping World.
