For the last few months, our Taillight team has been working vigorously in partnership with the Canadian National Railway to celebrate and showcase the talent, creativity, and collaboration of CN's employees through authentic storytelling and original music.
From Alberta to Quebec to Illinois, Director Justin Key and the Taillight crew traveled to various locations across North America to capture footage of CN's fourteen unsung heroes at landmarks and scenic locations within their own hometowns, each with different backgrounds and emerging cultures, but all with one common goal: music.
“These unsung heroes act as connectors and contributors while inspiring and motivating employees to continue working together in their workplaces and communities," says CN
Bob Dipiero, David Kalmusky, and Marc Pavlica with artists Keb'Bo' and Lauren Lucas, helped write and produce the authentic song, bringing all fourteen CN musicians to Nashville for two full days of making music, bonding, and creating "togetherness."
This extended music video, also edited by Director Justin Key, was streamed for the first time earlier this month to over 1,000 CN employees. The piece sparked excitement, raw emotion, tears of joy, and a standing ovation.
