Leadership Music has announced Taillight’s Matt Houser as one of the 44 industry leaders from across the nation who will make up its Class of 2024.
Leadership Music is an annual program that provides a platform for music industry leaders to learn about various aspects of the music business, address industry-related issues, and build long-lasting relationships with their peers. The selected participants will attend orientation, an alumni welcome reception, and a two-day Opening Retreat in October. Following that, they will engage in six all-day sessions once a month, culminating in graduation at the two-day Closing Retreat in May.
According to a recent interview with Music Row, Debbie Carroll, Leadership Music President and Selection Committee Co-Chair, emphasizes the transformative nature of the program, drawing from her own experience as a member of the Leadership Music Class of 2001. She expresses confidence in the Class of 2024, noting that they were chosen from a pool of nearly 300 qualified candidates by a selection committee comprised of 30 alumni, ensuring that the class is comprised of the best and brightest industry professionals.
With this prestigious selection, Matt will have the opportunity to network with industry veterans, gain insights from influential figures, and participate in immersive workshops. The program will provide him with a platform to expand his knowledge, deepen his understanding of the industry, and build valuable relationships in our industry.
