For more than three years, this experiential campaign has tripled the Swisher Sweets Artist Project 

social following and continues to deliver compelling content from dozens of major artists.

Challenge:

Brands are always trying to find new and exciting ways to attract and maintain their customers. Swisher Sweets and music have always had close ties, with the brand being name-checked in hundreds of songs, but how can they capitalize on that bond to attract new consumers?

 

Solution:

Surprise and delight consumers with the music they love! Swisher Sweets Artist Project is an ongoing initiative to provide unique opportunities for artists to create, share and pursue their passion. For fans, it's a way to be at the forefront of what's new and emerging in the world of music, arts and entertainment. From pop-up concerts, also known as Pack Nights, in major cities across the United States, to recognizing a new set of emerging talent in the game each year, to honoring established artists known for their 'Spark,' the Swisher Sweets Artist Project provides one-of-a-kind experiences for consumers. 

 

And that's where Taillight comes in. Since 2017, Taillight has helped produce experiences for the Artist Project in dozens of major cities across the US. We have captured and distributed content from some of the biggest names in music including Gucci Mane, Desiigner, Fetty Wap, Machine Gun Kelly, Cardi B, DaBaby, Tyla Yaweh and many more through live events and concerts. 

 

Campaign In Action:

  • 39 events including 10 ‘Pack Night’ concerts in Los Angeles, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlanta, and an end of the 2018 year ‘Take Over’ event in New Orleans.

  • South By Southwest 2018 and 2019 activation. 

  • 2019 Swisher Sweets Summer Twist Yacht Party featuring 20 influencers including Shaquille O'Neal. Learn more here.

  • Concerts featured top Hip Hop artists Gucci Mane, Desiigner, Fetty Wap, Cardi B and Machine Gun Kelly

  • Produced ‘Class of 2018, 2019, 2020 Series’ featuring content from up and coming hip hop artists on the verge of stardom at the various Pack Night concerts and Shaq's Fun House Festival.

  • Captured ‘Swisher Smoke Lounge Series’ where new artists interviewed headliner artists while enjoying a Swisher Sweet

  • Promo shoot, award show production and content creation during the Swisher Sweets ‘Spark Award show.' The Spark award was given to hip hop artist, Gucci Mane in 2018, Cardi B in 2019 and DaBaby in 2020.

  • Swisher and Taillight targeted country music fans with the ‘CMA Fest Country Concert Series’ with Facebook Live events featuring Tyler Rich, Riley Green, The Cadillac Three, Brantley Gilbert and Trent Harmon resulting in 12 million impressions.
